Misapplied name: C. provencalis moser ss. auct.
dk[x]

With distinct violaceus colours on both stem and gills, and a brown cap without any yellow tinges, this fungus is unmistakable. It is found in Quercus ilex og Fagus sylvatica forests.

The name C. provencalis has been applied to this species, but type studies show that C. provencalis is a synonym of C. sodagnitus.
