This C. glaucopus-like species is charaterized by more copious velum, more fibrillose cap and more pronounces blue/green colours than C. glaucopus, and by the tendency to grow in large fairy rings.

Maybe it should be treated as a variety of C. glaucopus - considering the morphological amplitude normally accepted for this species.
