A pale wax-yellow fungus with a greenish yellow cortina wich can be seen on the bulb margin. Itr belongs to section fulvi, but due to the pale colours it is more likely to be confused with species from the C. langei complex. See however: C. flavovirens and C. sulfurinus var. fageticola
